Advisor Meeting November 3

A letter was sent to all the advisors we currently have mailing addresses for with this information, but just in case you didn’t get it . . .

During our annual business meeting this spring, and in several conversations and emails since then, we’ve heard that many advisors would like more opportunities to connect with each other, brainstorm together, and receive training and information. To facilitate that, we’ve set up an Advisor Training and Q&A Meeting this fall, and we welcome Advisors from all Utah Youth Councils to participate.

Youth Council Advisor Training and Q&A Meeting
When: Saturday, November 3, from 11 am to 2 pm
Where: Centerville City Hall, located at 250 N Main Street in Centerville, UT 84014
RSVP: 801-856-7899 or (Stefani Jones) by October 29 so we can plan for food!!

Lunch will be provided.

This will be a great time to get to know advisors and find out how things are done in other councils and cities. The board will share information about the conferences in 2019 and additional updates to the Association, and then the majority of our time will be devoted to questions & answers. We hope that all advisors will be willing to share about experiences and recommendations for working with our wonderful youth councils.

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to include a call-in number for remote participants this time. If you’re unable to attend in person, you’re welcome to send Stefani your questions and suggestions to be shared during the meeting.

Notes from this meeting will be posted on the Association website ( about a week later.

If you are no longer a youth council advisor, or if you have different contact information you’d like us to use so we can communicate with you better, please contact Stefani.

Thank you for all you do!
